GIVING PROPS TO LANCE RUSSELL MAY I SAY THAT YOU, LANCE RUSSELL ARE THE HOWARD COSELL OF WRESTLING. WE MISS YOU, WE ENJOY ALL OF THE OLD CLIPS OF YOU ANNOUNCING/COMMENTATING. CONTACT DAVE BROWN AND SEE IF YOU ALL CAN REUNITE ONE MORE TIME. THAT WOULD BE MAGICAL AND BRINGING BACK THE OLD SCHOOL FLAVOR. I HAVE ONE QUESTION, WHAT WRESTLER DID YOU ENJOY WATCHING THE MOST. 1 comment(s) :: view Submitted by Bolodrek :: comment October 4, 2009 - (02:40:38 am)
Remembering my childhood It was great remembering old times with lance and dave. I was born in memphis, and lived there until 89. Once i left for the army life took me in another direction. I was wondering if anyone remembers tojo yamamoto. he was my favorite bad guy. Living in St. Augustine, Fl. now. Love seeing the king on raw every week it reminds me where i'm from. Lance, Jr. Hi, Lance, Always loved you on Memphis rasslin'! I grew up with your son, Lance, and he was even a member of my faux band, The Electric Rugs in the sixties in Memphis. He and I and our friend Steve Ellett were like the 3 Stooges growing up, but of all of Junior's friends, I probably caused the most problems! Kids! I have lost touch with him the last 35 years and wonder what he is up to. Can you put me in touch with him? I'd like to see how his life has gone. I am very happy that you are still going strong and doing things like this website and forum. You were loved by every kid of my generation in Memphis, and I'm sure those of us left still feel the same. Thanks for the memories. How are Valerie and Shayne? Bless you , Lance, you are the real King of Memphis rasslin'! Dennis McHaney dennismch@yahoo.com Submitted by dennismch :: comment October 2, 2009 - (01:24:15 am)

Top Ten list why MMS is better thn the new stuff. Let's make a top ten list. Of course number one is the announcers. Here's some ideas for the other 9 places. Need your help too! Finishing moves: You could believe a pile driver would finish a man or a back suplex. To see a guy get up from a move like that is not in the realm of belief. The fact that you can see the finishing moves today would be fatal, just spoil it all. You have to admire the skill to pull it off, but it's just not the same. Bad guys: They really looked bad and you were afraid of them because they looked like someone you really could meet. Good Guys: They weren't steroid infused muscle guys. They looked like somebody you could be, if you tried. The story: It was usually possible and never too private. (although the phase of Freddy vs Jason and the Ninja turtle was not a shining moment.) Other ideas?

If I teach English in the Czech Republic and use examples for teaching. When I ask the question of who you'd most like to sit down with and have dinner my choice is difficult. Mark Twain or Lance Russell? Lance Russell is a genius and it would be a pleasure to meet you sir. You are the real deal. I salute you. You will never know how much you made my life easier to deal with. If you ever tour Europe, I will show you the grand tour of Czech. virtual high five. Hello,Lance! Hey,Lance!James Willhide from Mount Vernon,Indiana.I've been a great fan of Memphis Wrestling for a long time, and I miss the best team in television, Lance Russell and Dave Brown. My apologies to Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, who were the best team in the 1990's,but you and Dave made Memphis Wrestling fun every Saturday night in Evansville.God Bless You,Lance, and thanks for the memories! Lance you were the very best. Lance, out of all the the wrestling organizations neither Solie,Monsoon,Orkerlund,Ventura, could hold a candle to you. When you left, I quit watching Memphis Wrestling it wasn't the same. You made Saturday mornings, and Championship Wrestling would't been what is was, even with the great talent it had without you. Thanks for the memories. For the record, the only one that should have introduced Lawler into the Hall of Fame was you. 1 comment(s) :: view Submitted by jrfrench :: comment August 7, 2009 - (11:36:41 pm)

Lance's grandson????? Has anybody else seen the color commentator for the Royal Wrestling Alliance's cable show out in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He goes by the name "Greg Russell" and claims to be Lance Russell's grandson. Obviously, the guy is a fake and I was just wondering if Mr. Russell knew about this? 1 comment(s) :: view Submitted by joeboy68 :: comment May 17, 2009 - (03:00:20 pm)
